The ZEIT handle becomes part of a story shaped by matter, light and time, finding its perfect expression in the interiors of Hotel La Suite in Matera, in the exclusive matt bronze finish.

Designed by @studiomarcopiva for Mandelli1953, ZEIT seamlessly blends with the contemporary and modern stylistic trends that define the five-star hotel and its suites.

The handle is the winner of the 2017 Good Design Award.

Every door marks a boundary, and every handle is an invitation to cross it. The ZEIT handle transforms a simple gesture into a design experience.

Inspired by the concept of time passing, ZEIT features 12 symmetrical facets: 12 like the months of the year and the sections of a clock face.

The handle is available in versions for doors, windows and pull handles, in 6 different exclusive finishes.

The passage of time is a metaphor for the passage that ZEIT handle – Zeit means "time" in German – represents.

The result of extensive research on shapes and materials, ZEIT explores new tactile and visual effects, transforming an everyday object into a sensory experience. Winner of the Good Design Award 2017.

His architectural and artistic works find inspiration in geometry, in a continuous dialogue between full and empty, form and mathematical element, geometric rigour and absence of chromaticism.

Mandelli1953 had the opportunity to bring the iconic MM80 handle to life, designed by the master in the 1980s.
