“The idea of getting two handles in one fell swoop came to me by observing the process of making the keys, which are printed in pairs, before being separated and notched. But with the intent to save energy and investments for the customer, I thought for a long time to find a way to skip the phase of heating the material to 800 degrees and molding it. In fact, these are the two steps that require the greatest use of energy and investment for the producer. I therefore opted for a round bar that, not needing to be heated, is only curved and, cut on the bias, gives rise to two specular and light handles. Skipping the stamping phase, the “deburring” of the scrap is not even necessary and the only surface to be rectified is that of the cutting surface, which, in addition to being flat, constitutes only 30% of the total surface.<\/p>\n

Moreover, by eliminating the constraint of the mould it is possible to obtain, without further investment, the DK version for window and the long version for sliding window doors.<\/p>\n

“Just like in the case of the Chicane project, which I developed together with Mandelli1953 in 2020, Coup\u00e9 also required the exchange of a few essential information to be refined. Basically Coupe required the exchange of a few essential information to be refined. Basically, a “project on the phone”, as the great master Vico Magistretti defined them, saying, I like the design so clear that you can not draw it. I sent many of my designs over the phone.
